But when you do get four players together, each assuming a key role on the bridge, this game is utterly magical and one of the best role-playing adventures you’ll find on console. It’s a strange thing that a game with such broad appeal is actually incredibly rarified and niche, and many people have excitedly played it then quickly dropped it because they simply couldn’t experience Bridge Crew under optimal conditions. That is, when you play it properly, with three other human players. At least I think it would be a cool idea that someone could pull off.Why should you play it? Not only is Bridge Crew (opens in new tab) the ultimate in ‘Trek fan-service, such is the loving recreation of the bridge on both the new starship and the original Enterprise, but it’s also a damn good use of VR. What I would personally love is for someone to create is a comprehensive book that covers the last decade of gaming, a look at the best and biggest games of each year, with an in-depth look into some of the most notable events, it could also cover some of the biggest developers of the decade, maybe by taking the average metacritic score from all of a publishers games it could include a rank of every publisher to show which one did the best this decade. I'm not saying that I expect all of these games to be on every best games of the decade list, I don't even like all of them, but any reasonable person would expect to see some of these names on a list like this, if said list was to ever be taken seriously. I mean they haven't included stuff like Mario Odyssey, Sekiro, RE2, Uncharted 4, Arkham City, GTA V, Persona 5, Borderlands 2, Dead Space 2, Far Cry 3, Bioshock Infinite, Horizon Zero Dawn, or Spider-Man. The fact that some games which aren't that great such as Sea of Thieves and FIFA 17 (FIFA 13 was way better), also some weird games which I don't think most people will of ever heard about were included above some obvious choices makes this another one of those lists that is useless as a fun look back at this decade of gaming.

This seems like a very rough list of the most notable games of this decade, not the best games.
